    Hi –

I’m somewhat of a beginner with this and can use someone’s help. I’m using the Make theme to set up a new website and find that I have two main menus. I’d like to either eliminate the search bar in black at the top or eliminate the menu immediately below it. Can anyone instruct me on how to do either?

The site can be seen at http://dev.socialprintshop.com/

Thanks in advance for any input.

Hello! Welcome to WordPress and thanks for trying Make! 🙂

In the Customizer, go to Menus → Menu Locations and you can select the menus to show in either the header bar or the Primary Navigation location.

Here’s a tip: If you want the Primary Navigation location to be completely empty, create a custom menu (in the Customizer under Menus, click + Add a Menu) that is empty. Give it a name like Blank and save it. Then assign your Blank menu to the Primary Navigation location.

    Hope that helps!

Melissa – Thanks so much for your quick reply. It worked quite well however I’m left with a white gap between the banner and the header menu. I’ve found several answers on the forum that work partially but not completely. Do you happen to know of a way to solve this new problem?

    Thanks again!
