Woocommerce/Customizr breadcrumb problems

I’m have a great deal of difficulty getting my breadcrumbs working sensibly. I’m using Woocommerce plugin with Customizr theme. I have searched and searched and searched for code to correct this, but nothing I’ve tried actually works. I think it is the interaction of Woocommerce and Customizr that seems to be the problem (to my mind, anyway). Thanks for any help.

At the moment, it goes like this, and my shop area is called “Shop”
Home » Products (Choose “Category A”)
Next page it shows up as
Home » Category A (Choose “Item A”)
Next page it shows up as
Home » Products » Item A
…which makes no sense to me at all.

I would LIKE it to say “Home » Shop » Category A » Item A”. That makes sense to me as a way of knowing where you are, and moving back to the previous screen if you want to, or the one before that. Is this impossible?
