Text layer editing behaving funny

Is it just me or getting the font size right is really kind of weird?

I get the right size in the editor, but it does not display in the slide preview….

Also are you able to change the font type? I guess it depends on the interface of your backened/plugs, but even with TinyMCE Advanced I am not able to change the types ….
