I have some complex SVG images (>100kb) on my site which are not lazy loaded. It would be great if there was an option to lazy load SVG as well 🙂

I believe that if they’re in an <img /> tag, they should lazy-load like everything else. Does it not? Or are you loading SVGs inline? If it’s inline, I’m not sure there’s much that can be done about it.

Actually, I am not entirely sure about this point since I am using two plugins to load SVG files:

DrawIt – https://wordpress.org/plugins/drawit/
MapSVG – http://codecanyon.net/item/mapsvg-responsive-vector-maps-floorplans-interactive-svg-images-plugin/2547255?ref=RomanCode

I will need to check with the author of MapSVG to see if the code is inline.
