Problem: Installation Step 2

After proving MySQL Credentials, it asks for username, password, email, etc..
After that at 2nd step of installation, nothing happens, there appears just a logo. When I refresh the page it says that the installation is successful.
But unable to login.
When I access phpMyAdmin, it don’t have any record in wp-users table.
It would be a great help if someone is there who can help me to login.

@adkprasana, Please check your phpmyadmin user permission.. allow all rights to that particular user and try to reinstall.

I’m doing all as a root. I think, it should work.

@tattoosleeve WP Super Cache would be a logical decision and keep the amount of active plugins to a min.

@adkprasanna Do you still need help?

Sounds like the Database did not create all the way. could still be perm issue as mentioned but, sounds like it may need to be re-installed, database also. Make sure the WordPress software you are installing meets the requirements of the different server’s software services such as PHP, MySQL, ect..

I experienced this same issue, and had to increase the max_execution_time in php.ini or call http://php.net/manual/en/function.set-time-limit.php

sorry for replying late. Yes, editing, max_execution_time in php.ini solved the problem 🙂
