Hide admin area

I installed the iTheme Security free. I have checked the button Enable the hide backend feature. When I login, I get redirect back to the site itself. When I type in the login area I get in the back-end. Why is this happening? When I’m in the back-end, in the address bar, there is wp-admin showing, instead of the slug I entered. Is that correct?
