    Hi

On a page or post “insert read more tag” I get a line in the editor but the side is still showing the full text.

    Can you please help.

    Thanks

    Harry

  • Hi,
    Please give your site’s url.

Where are you seeing full text? On the home page, the excerpt length is decided by the length given in the customizer panel.

When you view the post, the full text will be shown.

In which page are you expecting the read more tag?

    Can you give more details?

    Hi Menaka

Thanks. I am developing a side, the page is in question is https://fountain-energy.com/products/led/indoor-applications-bio/ (the pw is “led go” without “”, I am working with pagebuilder and on this page you can see my text (Read more…) and below the code and all text still there.

What i want that the reader can read up to (read more..) and then if clicks it would expand to the full text, examples Happy Baby, Happy Parents when clicked on read morew it should then show the text beginning

Other lights are……. and the Spec Sheet data

    Thanking you

    Harry

    Hi,
Is that a 2-column grid view?
Well, for the grid view, you can either display excerpt/ full content. You may have chosen full content.

From the customizer panel, go to Content->Post Lists. Under Global Post Lists Settings section, choose Display the excerpt against Select the length of posts in lists

    Hi Menaka

It is not a grid view – it is actually a page. Any other solution as to have a separate page for the full article/paragraph view on that page?

    Thanks

Is it a custom page you have created?
In the page, you may have chosen to display full content. Instead, choose excerpt.
