    I wonder if something changed in WP 4.5?

    Menus are set up for social icons and there are links which appear when in the Customize view, but they disappear in “regular” view. Anyone else having luck with social icons? I can live without them, but since the theme is supposed to support this, I thought I would use them.

    Solution: Adblock Plus, a plugin for Firefox, was preventing the icons from displaying.
