Archive Blox Showing on wrong Archive Pages

I have a problem with archive images displaying on archives where they shouldn’t.

The following page had three different blox showing (Bulletin category (desired), All-In-One Events plugin category (not desired) and Sermon Manager plugin (not desired)).

I discovered that if I disabled the ‘Tags (ai1ec_event)’ option on the All-In-One Events Blox, that Blox did not appear anymore in the Bulletin archive page. This leads me to believe that although there is an option for both ‘Tags (ai1ec_event)’ and ‘Tags (post)’, they are treated the same by Blox Lite.

However, there is no ‘Tags’ option for Sermon Manager

I suspect that the archive types listed for Sermon Manager are all considered ‘Tags’ by WordPress?

Any ideas on how to make these Blox’ unique?

Hi Sheldon,

Just wanted to give you a quick update. I am still researching this, I should have some more insight this evening. I am trying to replicate the page you have with the two other plugins. There is a lot of interplay between the different category/tag/taxonomies. Is it at all possible for you to send me a screenshot of your location tab so I can see what is selected?

I fixed the issue dealing with the sermons. There was a bug with the location taxonomy selector for archives. Thanks for catching this! It was one little tiny snippet of code.

By any chance when you had ‘Tags (ai1ec_event)’ selected, was it set to show on all Tag archives for the event calendar, or was it a selection of tags? The issue with the sermons only occurred when showing all, so if you had a similar setting for the event Tags, it is the same issue.

I am running through a few more tests to make sure this is 100% resolved. I will have version 1.3.0 up tomorrow morning. If you want to try it out before then, feel free to download the latest release on GitHub: https://github.com/ndiego/blox-lite.
