Gallery shortcode with image id

    Hi,
    I use [gallery] shortcode to display galleries outside of post. I actually use [gallery ids="#,#,#..."] to display specific images.
    I understood NG works with its own galleries we have de declare before, right ?
    Is it possible to use NG with kind of legacy shortcode as explained above ?
