Wrong date in XML Yoast SEO – dynamic pages

    I have pages online which are comprised of custom post type’s content. These custom post types are being added daily, and published on the pages. However, the page itself doesn’t get an actual update through WordPress. Therefore, the ‘Last mod’ date in the XML doesn’t update. How can I let the Yoast plugin use the date the page has received new content from the custom post types?
