Yes, I have done that. Yeah saw the example and that is why I am puzzled. It is on my local so cant exactly give you a link.

Looks like you have a pre tag before your shortcode making a mess of the page. Edit the page and press the text view and remove the pre tags. That should make it look correct.

Demo content is available in the plugins/easy-property-listings/lib/assets/sample-property-import.xml folder or here on GitHub. Use the WordPress Import plugin to import the demo content.

That is just a notification as the demo content has examples of all activated EPL post types. Enable all the post types from settings. See the image under Activate the listing types you need on the Getting Started Doc.
Not really so difficult the theme demo is ready to create a business.
