    Hi,

Okay, let me explain what I did.

    1. I installed WP from cPanel – Installatron and got this errors.
    2. Removed WP and directly installed it, still getting this errors.

Trying to upload a 50k image file and getting this error:
An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.

Trying to add a new theme via WP admin, getting this error:
An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

Here is a URL to my website: http://www.cycletrends.com/wordpress/

    Any assistance will be great.

    Thanks.

I think you need to contact your hosting company about the installer you are using and the server setup.

    Or install manually.

    Thanks for the reply.

Okay, will do. Just so that you know, I already installed wordpress manually and the same error occurs. Have you or anyone came accross this errors?

Would be nice if someone can point me into the right direction.

    Please let me know.

There are several possible reasons for the error. Some discussions from here in the forums… Maybe one of those will help.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

I’ve browsed through the link you send me but nothing useful. I will replicate this issue on one of my other servers and see if it gives me the same error.

Will send a update if I resolve this.

    Thanks.

    you can also try debugging

sometimes i see the ‘unexpected..’ message as well but it goes away by itself.

    Hi,

I checked the settings on our other servers, updated the php, apache & mysql versions but still getting the same issues.

Will someone please give me some additional advice regarding this.

    Appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Yes still the same issues.

Even updated my servers php, apache & mysql versions and still no go.

I’m still playing around with some settings and changes, but any input would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    (@hostco)

    Hi,

Already done debugging, any options what I also can do from your side on debugging.

I asked the server administrator to have a look, awaiting on feedback.

    Thanks.
