I had already been running WP 4.5. Right after I updated to the new version of Popup Maker my admin area was unreachable. I deleted the plugin via FTP and reinstalled it. Now when I try to activate it I get the following message;
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in /home/content/95/8428895/html/wp-content/plugins/popup-maker/includes/admin/class-pum-admin-upgrades.php on line 446
When I try to delete the plugin from the admin area I get the same error message.
@bobconley – Thanks for the report guys, had a very large update go out, I will get that patched right away and let you know when v1.4.1 is available.

@bobconley, @zippo13 – Please try v1.4.1, or v1.4.2 if its out before you get this. Already have a few more patches going out shortly.
