    Hi,

    I’m new to wordpress.

I have had a company provide me with a custom wordpress theme. Everything is working as expected except for the blog page.

On the blog page there seems to be a phantom post occupying a space between some of the other posts (see link below for example) what’s stranger is that the space moves when viewed on desktop and on mobile versions.

The company who designed it have not been particularly helpful with providing me with a fix.

I was hoping that somebody here would be able to help.

    Thanks.

some of the blog post titles seem to be wrapping onto a second line.
that might be contributing to the big blank/empty space. it’s likely a design issue in the page layout used or customized by the company you hired.

perhaps, the layout is not working as desired if the titles have too many characters. i’ve had similar experience.

you could try to reduce the # of characters in the title or maybe reduce the size of the text in the title. otherwise, some more involved CSS changes will be needed by the original designer/theme author.
