WordPress restore

Hi all I did a dumb thing I took over looking after my friends website 12 months ago it has been going great but in the weekend i was looking at the uses and I saw the old Administrator’s name and said I dont need you any more and deleted him but 2 important files went with him the company’s logo and the sites back ground photo. So i went to my cpanel and restored last weeks back files but it didn’t work and the site was really broken because i could not enter the customizing part of the theme or any other them plus view my products or anything. So i went and talked to my site host online help . But the only thing he could do was restore my site to April last year but this is a shop we have lost so much important data. I do have a downloaded backup on my computer for last week but not sure this well work and how to go about it can anyone help please and advise me what to do next if anything ?
