    Hello,
I have tried a few data tables but they dont have a feature that I am looking for. So before I try you guys out, I have a question.
Are the rows drag and drop able? say I want to move row 1 down to row 10. If this is not do able with you guys, do you know which plugin would provide that?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Yes, this is possible on the table’s “Edit” screen (by logged-in users that are allowed to edit the table), by clicking and holding the row number.

Thank you for the quick response. I have three requests from the table. can you verify that you can do these? you already verified my third one.

1st: inline editable from the front-end.

2nd: integrates with logged in users and possibly sub-users.

3rd: drag and drop rows from the front-end.

Your table can do these things correct?

an example would be from this link http://jquery-datatables-row-reordering.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/index.html . look at the example you are able to move it in the front end.

    Hi,

unfortunately, I’ll have to disappoint you here.

1 and 3 are not possible with TablePress. Editing and drag and drop is only possible on the table’s “Edit” screen, in the admin area, for logged-in users. None of these are possible on the front-end!

That link that you posted could be applied to the table on the front-end, but the new order would not be saved or anything like that.

    Regards,
    Tobias
