Not sure if this is connected but seems like it may be.
Just trawling through all settings and in:
Create/Manage Events
I see 4 lines with the same content displayed at the top of the page:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /www/sites/e9f/172/www.insight-setup1.co.uk/web/wp-content/plugins/book-a-room/bookaroom-events-manage.php on line 526
and in:
Search Registrations
I see 4 lines with the same content displayed at the top of the page:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /www/sites/e9f/172/www.insight-setup1.co.uk/web/wp-content/plugins/book-a-room/sharedFunctions.php on line 85
Seems to indicate that the plugin is looking for something which I haven’t specified.
OK – definitely something wrong….
On the Booking Calendar when I try to search I’m also getting an error:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /www/sites/e9f/172/www.insight-setup1.co.uk/web/wp-content/plugins/book-a-room-event-calendar/bookaroom-events-main.php on line 1899
And on the Branch drop down I don’t get options just ‘Do not filter’
*** Apologies for multiple posts on this topic ***
First off, have you created room containers?
Rooms are real, physical spaces.
Room Containers are reservable spaces and contain one or more rooms.
When people reserve, they are reserving a container. This is so that the system knows, if they are reserving a container that is made of three connected rooms, for example, that every physical room is being reserved and no one else can use it.
No I didn’t as I read containers to be spaces that could be multiple rooms. My mistake.
Thanks – back to the drawing board.
You don’t have to change anything you’ve done so far, just add a new container for each room. If you aren’t allowing merged rooms, that should be it.
I will also look into why you aren’t getting a better error message!
I think teh error message is fine – it’s me!
Anyway, I made containers and they are now appearing (thanks) but…. when I try to reserve I get a blank dialogue box
e.g. link for reserve=http://www.insight-setup1.co.uk/reservations/?action=reserve&roomID=1
But a dialog that shows Question icon and Accept & No buttons
http://www.insight-setup1.co.uk/reservations/
In the content settings, this is where you put your Contact/Agreement and it shows up before they are allowed to continue.
OK. Got that.
Next stupid question (!). I inserted variables and pop up is not replacing with variable info just the variable string?
e.g. “Please click ACCEPT to confirm booking of {roomName} in {branchName}”
I didn’t mean for that text to be at the top of the page! Those variables are only for the emails. I’ll change the text right now. The Content Admin should just be the boilerplate meeting room contract. When you edit the Email settings, you can add those in the emails and when a user reserves a room, they will see the variables in the email alert.
Thanks – I saw it in the emails as well.
Are you making sure the case is correct? It is case sensitive.
Sorry, I meant I saw the prompt for using in the emails as well – all working fine.
