Login / Register Error Messages Do Not Show
-
Hello,
My website has stopped showing the error messages on the login / register screen. You can see using the link below.
http://www.bookingscentral.com/wp-login.php?action=register
I need to have the error messages show to make the website more user friendly for guests who create accounts. All I get is a blank line in the code and no text.
<div id=”login_error”></div>
I have the Wordfence and Custom Login plugins installed. I temporarily Deactivated the two plugins and still the same problem where the error message does not show.
Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions to this login / register screen problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks 🙂

Hey there,
Hope you are doing great!
I would suggest you to check this issue by deactivating plugins one by one. It may happen that some other plugin is causing it. 🙂
Thanks,
Archana.I tried deactivating all of the plugins and it did not work.
The only plugin that I could not deactivate was the plugin that powers the directory listings which should not trouble the login page.
I still get the same problem on the login screen, with no error message being displayed. No error text shows in the html when I look at the source code.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thanks.
My registration suddenly does not show any error if you for instance do not enter any email or even username in registration fields. It just shows you that the registration has been successful!!! Any idea?
Hello
It looks like the problem with your login plugin please try to deactivate login plugin and use default wordpress login page.
ThanksI deactivated everything! But I still have this problem. I appreciate if you can help me. This is very irritating!
I used ‘Theme My Login’ but now even after deactivating it, I will be redirected to ‘/register-2/’
And I still have the registration problem as I mentioned before!
Any Idea!?I’m sorry, you’ll need to open a new thread to discuss your issue: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting#postform
Hello,
I tried to disable the Custom Login Page plugin and that did not work.
I tried to disable almost all of the plugins and that still did not work.
So I am stuck and cannot figure out how to fix it. It still generates a blank tag in the html.
<div id=”login_error”></div>
Any suggestions would be great.
I suspect that it is being caused by he Chery Framework plugin or my custom template.
My next step will be to disable the template and put the default 2014 template live and try then. However the custom template must have Cherry Plugin to work to hard to tell which one is causing the problem in the 2014 template works.
