• Howdy Everyone!

I’m not expert but i’m going nuts trying to sort this out.

My wordpress page was configured on 2 languages starting on the following link: http://www.riseandshineco.eu/store/ at:

    http://www.riseandshineco.eu/store/en/
    http://www.riseandshineco.eu/store/es/

Which i believe i have successfully managed to change the title and description of the sites.

However, when i google “rise and shine ethical” i get the original link “www.riseandshineco.eu” with a title which i’d like to change “Rise and shine co.” To a different title and description as well.

Where could I change the title and description of the original link ?

Im going nuts trying to find it on the wordpress

Thank you very very much in advance

  • I think this may have something to do with Yoast plugin you have installed. There may be a couple of things you could do to attempt to change this

    1) On the “Front Page” of your website in the admin panel you can update the title and description or overwrite what is there with what you desire. There’s usually a Yoast metabox toward the bottom of the page. If you do not see this box, click the top right of your browser “Screen” tab ( sorta hidden but it’s up there ) and ensure it’s checked.

    2) You may want to explore the Yoast plugin settings and see if there’s an option to change there. I’m not too too familiar with Yoast so I wouldn’t be able to tell you exactly.

Note that any change you make will not show up instantly on Search Engines. They use crawlers which take a bit of time to re-read your website and show that data. Make your changes and wait maybe a week or so to see if it works.
