Infinite loop error on homepage only

    When I try to visit my site’s homepage (www.2a.consulting) I am met with an ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS error message. Every other page on my site works properly (including the /wp-admin/ directory) so I do not know what could be triggering this.

    The problem is not with any plugins (I have tried deactivating all of them to no effect) nor with my .htaccess file (clearing it does not solve the problem).
    It seems that the problem was triggered by the upgrade to 4.5?

    What else can I check to find what the issue is?
