Twitter embeds not working

I’m getting a strange thing where Twitter URLs aren’t embedding in posts, but YouTube URLs are. See http://www.comicmix.com/2015/04/11/testing-ignore/ for an example.

Any ideas? I’ve switched themes, removed plugins, and reinstalled WP, and all forum posts on this are at least two years old.
