Tiny Framework – I can't remove both theme credit and admin login

I am using Tiny Framework with the child theme provided. I have been using the instructions in the fantastic documentation about how to remove these two elements which show on the bottom left of every page “using tiny framework” and the login link. When I include the CSS for hide login link, it goes away. Yay! When I uncomment the remove_parent_theme_credits in the child’s functions.php, the credit disappears but the login comes back. I can’t seem to get both of them to go away, just one or the other.
