cannot assign articles to different sections

    Hi,

    We are using WordPress with your plugin to connect to Apple News. We are able to publish articles but they only go to the default section in Apple News. How can i select any article to be published in specific section in Apple News?

    I can see on Apple News alot of publishers have got articles in each section but we cant do it. is this the restriction in your plugin? or please guide me.

    And wondering what are these publishers using that they have got it all perfect?

    At launch, most publishers were using only one section. Multiple section support is coming in either version 1.0.8 or 1.0.9. Both are scheduled for release this month.

    I have downloaded the newest version but this feature is still not there… any idea if this will be included or i am doing something wrong?

    The feature has been bumped to version 1.0.9 which should be out in the next week or so.

    Btw it would be awesome if you could set different post type to go to different sections. Eg. we have images, videos, articles, etc.

    Would also be great to set rules for different categories!

    That’s out of scope for this feature for the foreseeable future, but we’ll be sure to make a filter available for you to implement such a thing within your theme’s code.

    Awesome to hear that the feature is coming, but as a newly added publisher, I’m curious:

    Will it be hard to move existing “Main” Content over to Sections?

    Publishing to sections is now live in version 1.1.

    No matter what section I attempt to place the article, it goes to main. Another user posted about this issue as well

    This is fixed in version 1.1.1, which was just released.
