• Hi guys,

    Hope this is the right section on the forum to post this. When trying to log into the admin or even trying to get onto the site I face the following message

    Warning: require_once(D:\Hosting\11553142\html\wp-content\plugins\jetpack/require-lib.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\Hosting\11553142\html\wp-content\plugins\jetpack\jetpack.php on line 50

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘D:\Hosting\11553142\html\wp-content\plugins\jetpack/require-lib.php’ (include_path=’.;C:\php\pear’) in D:\Hosting\11553142\html\wp-content\plugins\jetpack\jetpack.php on line 50

    any help would be greatly appreciated,

    Many Thanks

    Owen

  • It seems the jetpack plugin is causing some interference.

    You will need to use either FTP or your hosts cPanel to gain access to your file directories.

    Once there, navigate to the “wp-content/plugins/” folder.

    Now, look for a folder named “jetpack”.

    Either:
    1) Rename this folder to something like “jetpack-broken” (if you want to keep it, troubleshoot, and rename it back). Or…
    2) Simply delete the “jetpack” folder.

    This should allow you access back into your site.

    Hi Josh,

    Worked first time thank you very much, do I just reinstall the jetpack plugin?

    Sure. Not sure what may have caused the issue… but it wouldn’t hurt to try installing again. If same thing happens; repeat steps above and perhaps post a support ticket on the jetpack plugin support section.
