• Download Manager Version 2.8.93
    WPDM – TinyMce Button version 2.5.0

    When I add a file/link using the “Quick Add” tab of the TinyMCE overlay, I get “file-not-found.txt” on the front-end and “attached file is missing/deleted” when editing the package in the back-end.

    The file however does exist in folder /wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files.

    Not sure if it is relevant or not but checking the source code on the edit page shows

    <input type="hidden" name="file[files][]" value="|||arrow.gif|||" id="wpdmfile">

    (in the case above I uploaded “arrow.gif” but it added the pipes around it.)

    The plugin works properly when adding files through the regular “add new” screen under “download”.

    I appreciate any help.

    Just wondering the plugin updates since should have solved this issue or not? I can confirm that I still have this issue. Currently using Download Manager version 2.8.96 and WPDM – TinyMce Button version 2.5.0

    @thedevguys, The issue is resolved. Are you still seeing the issue?

    @shaon, yes I still see the issue.

    Here are some more details step by step:
    I create a new page “Pages > Add New”
    I use the blue Tiny MCE Download Manager button > “Quick Add” tab > Fill out title and label and select “Only link/button” as template and select a file (in this example “Mickey_Mouse.png”). At this point after the file upload is complete it shows the file name under “Attached Files” section as “|||1464122246wpdm_Mickey_Mouse.png|||”

    I click on “Create package & Insert Shortcode” which create and inserts the shortcode.

    Now if I visit this page and click on the link I receive “”file-not-found.txt”

    Also if I go to the admin panel > Downloads > All Files and click on the newly created wpdmpro post, on top of the page I see “|||1464122246wpdm_Mickey_Mouse.png||| (attached file is missing/deleted)”

    Thanks for looking into the issue
