My WordPress Dashboard tells me to update my Responsive Theme to version 1.9.8.1, but when I attempt to download the update, the version number is 1.9.8.0. Is 1.9.8.1 available for download? Thank you for a great theme.

Yes – version 1.9.8.1 does appear to be available for download. Have you tried updating manually?

I should have noted that I only apply updates manually, because of the way that I have hardened my wordpress directory permissions. I have attempted to download from here

https://wordpress.org/themes/responsive/

and here

http://cyberchimps.com/responsive-theme/

and both links indicate that I am about to download 1.9.8.0.

I am open to any suggestions that you have. Thank you.

That’s strange as 1.9.8.1 is clearly available via https://themes.svn.wordpress.org/responsive/

I’d suggest waiting for a few days in case there’s an issue with the latest update that is stopping it from being made available.

Hi, esmi – you might have been right about 1.9.8.1. Version 1.9.8.2 is now available for download.
