error message

Hi,
I got this error while trying to update askimet
BRIEFLY UNAVAILABLE FOR SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE. CHECK BACK IN A MINUTE.

Before the screen went white with the above message, askimet was taking a long time to update, after disabling the plugin through FTP, I was able to get back in.

I was able to update and everything running fine. This happened awhile back also. Any idea what could be causing this?
