This is my first time using the Yoast SEO plugin (familiar with AIO SEO), but have recently purchased Genesis framework and seems Yoast SEO comes more highly recommended with that theme. Here’s my challenge, it’s probably something simple I’ve overlooked, but not one site I’ve added the “correct” code for has verified.

Google Analytics by Yoast seems to have worked, but for Yoast SEO plugin – Under the “Webmaster Tools” tab, in section labeled “General”, I have done something incorrect or overlooked something simple.

Until now I’ve not run into this issue, so I’m not sure if it screws anything up in the back-end of things – having already applied the tag codes. Will I have to “Deactivate” the plugin and (re)”activate”?

Also, if you’ve overcome this issue, do you have any suggestions for me to try? Again, as far as I’m aware, I’m certain the codes I entered are not the issue (as I’ve been back over to make sure a few times they are correct – exact characters and all). It would just be great to get passed this hick-up and move on to more productive things.

Thank you in advance, you’re most appreciated…
