First of all the Events are registering correctly under Behaviour->Events but it doesn’t show data under Conversions->Goals.

This is how my goal setup looks like:

Can you explain if I need to take any other steps?

Can you please share a screenshot of what your event feed looks like in Gravity Forms? They need to match in order for it to show up under goals.

Gotcha. The {form_id} and {form_title} are dynamic, so your goal wouldn’t ever register.

Try leaving the Event Label blank in your Google Analytics goal and the event should register.
