Stuck on "Scanning Site"

    I tried clearing the cache, and then scanning, but its stuck on “Scanning Site”. No javascript errors.

    I’m not sure if I can deactivate and reactivate the plugins to try this, because there are a lot of settings in there that I’m not sure might get cleared out or not.

    Same with Theme.

    What can I do?

    I’m not sure but I think I’m getting a

    “PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/hausie/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line xxx”

    error every time I run the scan. I can increase the time limit manually, is that somethign that happens often with duplicator?

    Nevermind. Its probably not related. I increased the execution time to 120, and tried running the scan again. Still stuck on scan, but no new error message.

    The folder is 16gb, would this size affect the scanning process? I’ve waited around 15 min and sitll scanning.

    Hey mikeyimmy,

    Checkout this question on the FAQs page I believe it may help or provide some clues about this issue:
    -> Browse to: http://lifeinthegrid.com/duplicator-faq
    -> Find section: “Timeout Issues”

    16GB is probably going to be too large especially if your on a budget host. You may try and create a directory filter…
