functions.php BYE BYE

    I have no idea why but for some reason all of a sudden my functions.php file will get deleted and I get this error

    Warning: main(/home/fearbomb/public_html/blah/wp-includes/functions.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/fearbomb/public_html/blah/wp-settings.php on line 118

    someone please help me.

    That’s weird, but if it really is deleted, you could download WordPress again and upload the single functions.php file to your server.

    Same happening to me on my two WP installations. I’m almost sure on both occasions after I upgraded to 2.5. I’n my case it’s line 201. I simply go back to my backup files and pull up old functions.php and then its up again.
