Thanks for contacting us and using our plugin. Unfortunately yes. At this time that is not built into our plugin. BUT I am working on making some updates this week and I will see about adding that as an option when creating the shortcode. I see we have view posts from page or view from others but NOT view all as you requested. Keep you posted! Have a great day!

This is a big ask, but is there any chance I can keep this open until the update comes out and you bump the post? This plugin does almost everything I want it to, both in function and design, so I don’t really want to go down a different route. I’d like to know when the update comes out with the Posts by Visitors feature enabled.

I just did some testing and actually the option when creating a shortcode called ‘Display Posts made by Others’ displays the posts by others and the page too incidentally. Take a look here at this temp example for GoPro. If you scroll down you will see posts by GoPro too among others posts. http://feedthemsocial.com/test/

On the settings page you can choose to show post by page or post by other only…. but actually instead of it saying posts by others only it should say posts by page and others. I’ve already got the working fixed for our next update. So thanks for bringing that to our attention.
So you’re shortcode should look like this…
[fts_facebook id=x2ylgbt posts_displayed=others_only type=page]
No reason to be ashamed, that just means you’re human and robots have not takin over the world yet 🙂 Let me know if that works!

hi slickremix, first of all i would like to thanked you making this awesome plugin. And i’m sorry i have to open this issue again.
Same thing as Andy Woggle, i want to show all post that showed on my facebook fanpage, i tried your suggestion for the shortcode, so mine is:
[fts_facebook id=blablabla posts_displayed=others_only height=600px type=page]
but still it only shows my own post. Can you help me? im kinda noob for wordpress.
NB: i have many shared posts from my profile page, can i show them too?

@quigondjin Thanks for the name! That option “others_only” is so you can show posts that only others have made on your page. I do not see that you are allowing people to do that on your fanpage.
If some posts are not showing it could be because we do not have a format for that post type available in the output of the feed or if you are sharing others posts and they are not showing up it could be a privacy issue.

Yes if the sharer has restrictions on the post it may not display in our feeds due to the fact it is no longer “public”. On Facebook, You can tell the privacy of the post by the little icon next to the time shared for example: 1h (or how every long ago they shared it) there should be little earth icon.

i tried looking at the settings on my profile page (post sharer), i have had set all permission to public/everyone. But still cannot show the shared post.
I guess its a different code to retrieve?
Does anyone know how to make shared-post become my own post? i tried shared on my timeline, but its still not showing 🙂
