@swellart Head-to-head comparison in league tables are a common request and we are working to add this to the plugin in a future update.
In the meantime, a workaround is to create an invisible column and sort by that column when the points are the same. Try this:
- From your WP admin, go to SportsPress > Configure.
- Scroll down to the Table Columns section and click Add New.
- Enter a title like “Tie Breaker” and set the Order to a large number like 1000.
- Select the dropdowns under Sort Order: 2, Descending.
- Click Publish.
- Go back to SportsPress > Configure and make sure that no other Table Columns have a Sort Order (except your main Points column, which should be 1, Descending).
- Edit your League Table and make sure that the Tie Breaker column is unchecked so that it is hidden.
Now you can manually enter a number into the Tie Breaker column to manage head-to-head team order. As mentioned, we will be rolling out a feature that automates this in a future update but I hope works as a temporary solution 🙂
