Is data serialization gonna be a problem for me

Hi,
I’ve created my first WordPress site on a test domain and now I’m soon gonna have to move it to real live domain. I’ve been reading WordPress’ guide to Moving WordPress and it is quite clear and straight forward.

I have one issue though, I can read from Moving WordPress and other guide that data serialization could be a problem, but only if you have serialized data in your database.

My question is. How can I check if I have serialized data? Or if this is gonna be a problem for me? I would like to know before-hand. And can I take some preventing steps or measures before actually starting the moving process?
