wp property search shortcode
-
Hello guys
I’d like to use the search widget in a full width page(without sidebar) and I’ve understood (perhaps I’m wrong) that the only way to do it is putting the short code [property_search] in the edit page, but instead of getting the normal search box I got a different one with less fields to be exactly just 3: price, deposit and area without the property type fild with its dropdown menu.
Can anybody help me to figure out where I’m wrong?
thank you!

Hello.
You can set up shortcode with attributes which you need. Here is the docs about shortcode parameters – https://www.usabilitydynamics.com/product/wp-property#documentation=wp-property-help/wp-property-shortcode-cheat-sheet
You will also need to mark attributes as searchable in Settings/Developer tab.
Let me know if you will still have questions. You can also use our contact us form for support.

Hi Maria thank you so much for getting back to me.
Actually the problem is not about the attributes they are fine but is about the fild “property type” which is missing just when I use the short code in a normal fullwidth page.
So If I put this code: [property_search] in a page it will display all attributes that I have selected as being searchable in the Developer tab but it will not display the fild property type which I need more than every thing else.
Can you help me with that.. pleaseYou will also need to add Property type as attribute in Settings/Developer tab and mark it as searchable attribute.
Also to see particular attributes in Property Search you can use parameter
searchable_attributesand put there list of attributes which you need.
Example in tutorial which I sent you.Regards.
Hi
I did add a attribute named Property types and mark it as searchable attribute and now in the form it will appear but there is not any property tipes inside such as flat, cottage, etc which I had set up in the Types settings/developer tab.Did you send me a tutorial? You mean this: https://www.usabilitydynamics.com/product/wp-property#documentation=wp-property-help/wp-property-shortcode-cheat-sheet
Which settings to you have for Data Entry and search Input for Property Type attribute. Also be sure that the name of attribute is Property Type not the Property Types.
Here is tutorial about Developer tab – https://www.usabilitydynamics.com/product/wp-property#documentation=wp-property-help/wp-property-settings-developer-tab
Regards.
I did range dropdown in the Search input and dropdown section in the Data entry.
I did correct the Property Type which was Property Types. Now it is Property Type but I got the same problem= no types of properties which I did set up.Ok, Let’s investigate that more directly on your site. You can contact us using this form with you wp-admin creds, I will check that on your site.
Regards.
