security plugins

I am setting up a new wordpress ecommerce site and cannot decide which security plugin I should use. I’ve read on various sites that having multiple security plugins with similar functions is not good. I am willing to pay for extended services of those plugins once I decide. I am thinking of Vaultpress premium version, since it feels like it is enough to use only that plugin for backup and security. If I need to use multiple security plugins, can you recommend any combination of plugins that don’t conflict with one another? Thank you.
