While this isn’t possible with a default setup of Sprout Invoices it’s something that you could develop yourself.
However, if your users are a pre-defined group than you could make things simple with a custom invoice/estimate template for each user, then when they create the invoice/estimate they select their template.

It would be good to add this feature, because with groups it’s impossible for user to customize its templates, products and other data.
Could you explain to me the use case where user groups would be necessary?
I’m having a hard time figuring out how this is a viable feature for many others when it’s focused on service feature and not a small business.

Basically, plugin is oriented to work with one company.
So, allowed users could create invoices and clientes for that company.
I think it would be great to allow users to create their own companies and manage them individually, with their contacts, products and invoices.
So, in the same website, any user could manage their data independent of main company.
That’s a type of business model I particularly want to support. However, it’s possible through custom development. You could also use the free version with WPMU right now to get something close to what you want/need.

I’ll add it to the feature requests list but unless it gets some traction it is very unlikely that it will get developed.
