Blog categories not working

Hi,

When I try to list blog posts from a certain category it lists all the blog posts of all categories.

For exapmple: http://peterwolmarans.com/?cat=2 – All post get listed.

I tried modifying permalink structure and editing .htaccess – still not working

I deactivated all plugins – still not working

I used the default 2016 theme then it works again. So it must be a theme problem?

How can I sort this out, please?

The category filter for post is not available in lite version of kyma.

Hi,
I have the same problem, I tried to list only a specific category but is not working.
It is a serius problem for me x_X

Hi johnnar,

I found an optional plugin that’s working great on my site.

https://wordpress.org/plugins/content-views-query-and-display-post-page/

This plugin let’s you choose a ‘category’ and ‘display style’ and generates a shortcode.

Then create a page and put the shortcode on the page.

For example this page shows all the post in the ‘Fitness’ category http://peterwolmarans.com/fitness-blog/

And this page shows all the post in the ‘Fashion’ category http://peterwolmarans.com/fashion-blog/

I saw your website, is ok, but I would like one similar like Kyma theme, because I need that it show a description and an image in the same time, and it is possbile with a stily of 2 or 3 columns.

I am using the Kyma theme.

You can choose how to display the posts in the “Display style” settings of the plugin above.

There is one that you can choose with an image and a description etc…
