Site Migration to New Host

Is there anything I should be aware of when migrating a site with AIOWPS to a new host? What should have been a straightforward transfer isn’t working and just wondering if something with the advanced .htaccess rules from AIOWPS has something to do with it.
When I say “isn’t working” I mean the site doesn’t show up nor can I get to the custom login page set by AIOWPS. It says “Error establishing a database connection.”
Copied site files and database from old host to new. Same folder structure. Domain has successfully moved to new host as well.
-Updated wp-config.php to reflect new db username, new db name.
-Database shows no errors.
