Add button below category title in category list shortcode

Hi,
I’m creating a site from a psd design and the designer has added a “read more” button below the category title.

I am trying to replicate this so a “read more” button is displayed below the category title when using shortcode to display the categories on a page.

Does anyone know how this can be done? I imagine it can be done with a function and hook but I’m not sure where to start.

The development site is here http://client-view.co.uk/present-company/ and you can see the categories towards the bottom of the page.
