it looks like some of your images have that white border on the images themselves. For example, this one:

You will need to edit your images and crop the white border off them, then upload them again.
thank you for your help and quick response but unfortunately I double checked and couldn’t see nor had I selected any white borders. I changed the thickness of the black borders to ensure there was no white. When I uploaded the new pictures the white borders changed on which sides of the images they first appeared on. And the business suit with ticks image who didn’t have any white now has it whereas the clock image had white but now doesn’t.
Could it be an issue with the actual slideshow plugin that causing the problem because all images are being uploaded the same way, same size and everything??
You have to view your image on a black or dark background to see the outer white border. I downloaded your hourglass image and opened it with a dark background….I will have this image uploaded for a short while, but you can see what I mean:

It would be best if your images were cropped so that only the image itself is in view with no outer borders or space. Right now for your hour glass image, your image has a black outer border with another border (the white one) outside of that area.

we couldn’t see the white border until you showed it to us on the black background. The actual problem was with how we were saving the images. When we were saving the images as jpeg it appeared to be creating the extra white border, however we now saved all images as png and finally the white lines have vanished.
another problem we have is with the copyright down the bottom of the page. We can’t find where to change the colour of the copyright text, I’ve tried all the areas in the custom colour section but can’t find the right one.

Good to hear on the image borders….as for your other issue, the copyright, I just discovered there’s no colour setting in the customizer for this (my goof). The theme’s styling for this is:
.site-info {
margin-bottom: 20px;
color: #b5b5b5;
font-size: 0.75rem;
}
So you will need to do some custom CSS to change the colour…example:
.site-info {
color: #ffffff;
}
I will need to add this setting to the next update.
