Hey @roldengarm,
Can you possibly share the Website URL, so that I can take a look at the results.
Thanks
Hey, thanks. Have a look here: rolandoldengarm.com
What are the Smush stats for the image? Does it includes large in the list of optimised images.
You can check the stats in Media Library
All looks good to me. Smush stats say all images have been smushed. If I open an image from the gallery and check its stats I see: https://i.imgur.com/HnY4Jyr.png
Oops, I forgot to mention the image URL, Can you check the stats for this image: http://rolandoldengarm.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/mount-taranaki-1280.jpg
You can filter the list of images in media Library for Feb 2016, so that you can easily find this image.

Don’t you think? Or isn’t this correct?
It’s all correct, and the reason for Google warning is the fact that the .org version does skips the Full size image in specific cases, i.e the original image you upload and that too for a reason.
It happens only if the image is big enough to have a large size for it, as you can see in the stats, there is a large size for the image, which got smushed and hence the Full size was skipped.
So, the solution in here, is to, either use the current large size for the image, which might be too small for your homepage, as it is being used in header I guess.
Or if you are not using the large size anywhere else in your theme or plugin, you can change the dimension under, Settings > Media as per the required size on home screen for the header image. That way, you’ll be able to use the optimised image for your home page.
And if this is something, you’d need very frequently, you can override this without any pain in the Pro version.
Cheers
Hmm I don’t understand it, I thought WP Smush would compress all images. But it’s creating different versions apparently.
Thanks anyway.
