How can I make the blog full width? I have removed all widgets from the primary sidebar, but I want to fill the full width of all pages. Thanks!

  • Are you wanting to remove the sidebar from your blog page entirely?

You need to go into your blog page settings, and scroll down to “Blog List Options.”

There, you’ll find the option to display a sidebar or not.

    Hopefully that helps.

Yes. I was hoping to remove the sidebar and make full-width, the blog feed, dozens of individual blog posts, and the pages of a third party download plugin. Is there a mass way to do this through CSS or a site wide fix? Thanks!

Did the above instructions help with your blog page? Can you send a link to your site so I can see what you’re trying to do exactly

You can control each page’s sidebar through the page edit screen and the use of different templates. You set the template in the “Page Attributes” section.

You were very helpful. Problem solved! Thanks!

I can’t find exactly where the blog page settings is to find “Blog List Options.” I’m very new to wordpress, so sorry to be so obvious!
