Website down

Hi, I was receiving lots of spam through the contact form on our site but we already had akismet running.
I noticed the spam was all from the contact form, so I read up on the docs and added the fields to my contact form which are noted here:

I then performed a test on the contact form as it says at the bottom of the above page, however, the spinner just kept spinning and so I refreshed the page, but I now cannot get on to the site at all.
I also updated the plugin before making the changes if that’s relevant.
Any help would be greatly appreciated – this is a business website and really needs to be up.
