  • Separate installations of WordPress could do what you are asking about, and then the two sites could share users (as long as their respective database tables are in a shared database) although the actual logins would still be site-specific.

    You could also set up a single multisite installation with subdomains. Make a subsite on the shop. subdomain and freely switch themes between the main site and the subsite.

    That way you wouldn’t have to mess with sharing database tables between multiple installations.
