Compatible membership plugins?

    Could anyone recommend membership plugins that would work with Nav Menu Roles?

    Justin Tadlock’s plugin is a good one but the documentation could be better and most support posts in the forum for that plugin are unanswered.

    The problem I have with that plugin is that posts that are supposed to be “Hidden” are not entirely hidden; the title shows up and only the content shows “You can’t see this post”.

    Sorry Patrick, I completely missed this thread while I was travelling. I don’t know that I have a recommendation anyway. Most membership plugins intentionally show you some teaser content… or at least that content exists… so as to entice you to register/upgrade. Altern

    I’m not sure if restrict content pro works any differently. Alternatively, you could write a custom redirect that sends anyone without the proper access to signup page. But you’d also have to use pre_get_posts to remove those posts from the loop, which could be messy.

    This is beyond what NMR support covers, but I hope that helped.
