I think a great solution for this is an integration with WP Bruiser plugin. It was recommended to me by Jetpack team to protect the contact form and it’s unbelievable.

Use Rainmaker‘s subscribe form (Rainmaker and Email Subscribers are compatible). Rainmaker has in-built spam prevention technique Honeypot.

I am also interested in this form of spam blocking. I have looked at Rainmaker but they do not mention anything in there docs (there isn’t much actually) about using the Honeypot technique. Is there a way to verify how this is integrated? Thank you and great plugin!

Rainmaker uses Honeypot technique. The developers tells me that they’ll add it in their docs about it soon.
