Changing Page Order

Hello,

In the pages function, there is an option that suggests that you can chage the order of how pages appear in the menu column..

But it does not appear to work.

So my question is – how do you change the order of PAGES in your blog, by pages I do mean what WORDPRESS call PAGES.
