This sounds like a possible conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?
Hi friends,
same issue here. I found that it actually is a theme conflict with the Elegant Divi theme.
They announced to fix it with the next update.
I am having the same problem. I had installed Yoast SEO plugin and thought that is what caused it. But deactivated it so that was not the issue. I think it is the latest DIVI theme upgrade by Elegant Themes.
Yes, we use Divi too! “They announced to fix it with the next update.” ??? When will that be???
They did not mention that.
According to the support forum, their last comment on this issue of February, 26th.
So let’s give them some time. Meanwhile I play around with

and it seems to be promising.
If you’re all using the Divi theme, you can add the code below to the functions.php file of your theme and it should fix the problem.

This fix will be incorporated in the next plugin update.
Thanx a lot for this code!!! It works 🙂
No problem, thanks for the update.
Thank you, caimin_nwl. Worked like a charm!
